CLASSIC CAMEMBERT


A classic dish, camembert from the oven.

Serve this dish on a nice board with the nuts, figs and some red fruit compote.

For the Christmas feel, I added some Christmas decorations like some baubles. But this also goes very well on New Year's Eve.

Delicious with drinks or as a main course.


Ingredients

1 camembert

2 cloves of garlic cut in half lengthwise

Teaspoon of Provencal herbs

Honey

Handful of mixed nuts

Ciabatta or other baguette

Pair of figs

Red fruit compote


HOW TO


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (hot air) for the camembert. Remove the camembert from the plastic wrap and put back in the wooden tray or in a baking dish lined with baking paper. Cut the camembert crosswise at the top and put the garlic inside.

Sprinkle the Provencal herbs on top and some honey. The camembert goes into the oven for about 20 minutes.

Bake the baguette, this can also be done at the same time as the camembert, note the oven time for the bread. Meanwhile, in a dry skillet, toast the nuts.

Slice the baguette and serve with the camembert and the rest of the board.


You can keep this dish for 2 people as a main course.
